Hi I found a co sponsor and have a couple questions. 1. He is also bringing his mother to us from the same country my fiancé is from. Is it ok if he's sponsoring his mother and also co sponsoring me? 2. His irs transcript will say he makes 1800 before taxes, do u think this will be acceptable? I also plan to get a 2nd job before the interview so I can be making the guideline myself. 3. I have a tax return from a job that I had last yr for just three months and I want to show the embassy cause I think it will help my case, however I forgot to put this job on my petition. Problem or ok?

$21,600 is not enough for 3 people.

You fiancé will need to make $25,112 before tax or have one sponsor that makes enough.

Money you make does not count towards sponsorship.

I don't understand why you want to show the them a tax transcript you have from a job you don't have anymore because you're moving to America.

1- you cannot combine income to make enough.

2- you cannot help with sponsorship

Your fiancé has to make enough or have one sponsor that does.

3 ppl? Are u talking about me, fiance, and sponsor? I thought the sponsor just had to make 125% above the federal poverty guideline

If the sponsor is sponsoring you and their mother then yes it would be three people.

Themselves, you, their mother.

It has to be 125% for the amount of dependants.

I'm the petitioner not the beneficiary. It's a tax return from last yr... My co sponsor wants to show a irs transcript of his income so I'm wondering if that's all the co sponsor needs

Oh I see what ur saying about the 3 ppl.

You said

Your post is confusing and sounds like you are the beneficiary.

But it still stands.

Your co sponsor does not earn enough if he is sponsoring his mother and your fiancé.

I wonder if I get a 2nd job and start making enough to meet the 125% guideline and also have him as sponsor if it would be good .

no.

You cannot use two incomes from two separate people to meet the requirements.

Either your OR your sponsor has to meet the requirements.

Do u know if petitioner is suppose to meet 100% for I-134 and then 125% when it comes time for I-864?

Yea.

It's 100% for k1 for some reason.

But it's 125% for AOS.

Ok thanks for ur help! I think that makes a huge difference and I may not need a co sponsor then. Because by that time I can have 2 jobs and be making the 125%

Just make sure to provide proof of income from all jobs. Get letters from both employers and show recent pay stubs from both. Enter your current income on the I-134 as a combination of both to show you meet the income requirement.

As for co-sponsors, they need to make enough for their own household size plus the intending immigrant.

How to count household size >

Your household size includes yourself and the following individuals, no matter where they live: any spouse, any dependent children under the age of 21, any other dependents listed on your most recent Federal income tax return, all persons being sponsored in this affidavit of support, and any immigrants previously sponsored with a Form I-864 or Form I-864 EZ
