Visa Interview-Ciudad Juarez

Hello Everyone,

I have a couple of questions and hopefully someone can answer them. My husband went to his medical appointment in ciudad juarez and asked him if he has had any surgeries and he said yes. He told him he had Appendicitis (they removed his appendix). The doctor checked his scar and that was it. Should he take proof of his surgery to the interview?

My second question is: He got a ticket about 5years ago for crossing the street when the hand signal came up. He says he was walking and the hand was not up yet, but the police still gave him a ticket. He payed for the ticket, but he didn't take proof of that payment to ciudad juarez. Will he need the payment confirmation for his interview.

Last question: My husband took our joint tax return for 2009, 2010, 2012-2015, but we couldn't find the one for 2011. I have been looking for it, and not luck. Do you think they might ask him for that one?

Someone please help me with these questions. I am getting a bit nervous.

You only need the last 3 years so 2011 is not needed 2014, 2013, 2012. And only the most current tax filing paperwork is required (Good to have all 3 years tax transcripts just in case though).

No he doesn't need proof of surgery for interview that's a medical thing and if he passed medical no issue now.

Is that ticket on his Police certificate (police report). I am sure he can explain a jaywalking ticket. But whats on his police report?

Thanks for the response, he does not have a police report because ciudad juarez does not require one, and they didn't ask him for one on his P4 letter.

Today is the big day, my husband has his interview at 9:45 am (ciudad juarez time). I am sure everything will be great, please keep him in your prayers! As I will do for everyone who has their interview today.

I am not there with him, but right now it is 10:36 am in Ciudad Juarez. His appointment for the interview was at 9:45am. So, I believe he is waiting for the interview at this moment. I am so nervous! I wish I was there with him, but I am taking my last courses for my BA.

However, they fingerprinted him again and asked him if immigration ever stopped him, because it showed that he was caught 3 times at the border. My husband said the truth and he then replied... "congratulations your visa is approved"

We submitted a FOIA and it didn't show he was caught three times. It was very weird that it appeared when he did the fingerprinting. BTW they didn't ask him for any evidence. He just asked 1. Who is the petitioner? and 2. Have you ever been arrested? and then he did the fingerprinting.

A question, so he didn't take police certificates with him?

I have lived in Saltillo, Coahuila, Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.

I already got an appointment in Nuevo Leon to get the police certificate there and i am going to Santa Fe next week and i am planning to get it too.

I am from Mexico and I am getting ready to schedule my interview.
