g-1145 notification?

5 posts in this topic

My i130 package was received on April 10 and the check was cleared April 15 but I still haven't gotten an email notification. I'm the USC and living in Australia with my Aussie hubby so getting a text wasn't an option. I've doubled checked the email address that was on the g-1145 and it's correct. I've also checked my spam just in case but nothing. Is it still possible that I'll get an email or am I now waiting for a letter for the NOA1? If I'm going to be waiting on the letter, would it have been sent around the same time that the check cleared?

My I-130 was approved 30 days after it was sent. I never got from them any letter or email (No NOA1 or NOA2), the only way I found out about the approval was via the status check on the USCIS website

Good luck!

How did you use status check on the USCIS website? They need a receipt number and I've not had any communication from USCIS to know what that number would be.
