When Can I expect my K-1 to be Processed?

Hi all, I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but I have been really depressed lately and feeling hopeless. I feel for all of you in this forum. My question is, our K-1 application was accepted December 10th, 2014. It is at the TSC. Is it reasonable for me to "assume" we will be processed for the next step, sometime in June? My thinking is based on the USCIS website reporting they were processing applications submitted the end of August, the end of February. Thank you!

We all know how hard it can be to be away from the person that we love, waiting for a system that in the end is all based on a matter of opinion. I know that a lot of people have varying times for the TSC. All I can say is that we all know how you feel and that I hope your case get processed quickly. Good luck

Well, looking at timelines here, they seem to be starting work on September. So you've still got a while to go. Depending on a lot of factors, I wouldn't even start thinking about an approval late July if it keeps at it's current rate. That could change for better or worse. Some people have been waiting 220+ days. If it comes sooner, consider yourself lucky.

We all have a long journey ahead. I sent in september and got accepted in october but some people from november or december are being approved already. Everything seems for me very random regarding TSC. So keep yourself positive, you might get it anytime just like all of us!

Hello all, and original poster!

yes its a tough, frustrating process, but keep those spirits up and continue to rely on each other for support!

FYI: my fiance and I submitted 1st package back in December 2014, which went to TSC, and ended up withdrawing in March :(. Little did we know, by then, she had an alien registration # assigned, and we were probably half way there. (We got bad info from a stupid lawyer and realized after the fact that her ability to travel wouldn't be affected until the package got to her embassy)

So, us being stubborn and hopelessly in love, we went ahead and submitted package # 2 in April 2015. This time, it went to CSC! So, we are keeping faith in the system, and staying patient. This is all we can do, in our unique situation(s).

Best of luck, and don't let the sadness of being apart (temporarily) get the best of you! Stay strong, for yourself, and your better half ;) peace and love guys

Your case will always be routed by dallas to vermont, cali or texas. It can be transferred from one office to another like from texas to california. (The modt obvious transference)

See the post in red in my signature. Everyone sends their petition to the lockbox, which is just an intake facility. The lockbox then routes the petition to the service center that will adjudicate it. A transfer would happen later and you would receive a separate notice stating that your petition was transferred to another office for processing. Transfers are rare. Everyone's case is routed.

There are many different lockboxes and service centers which receive different types of petitions depending on how USCIS has set up that petition type. For I-129Fs, we all send our petitions to the Texas lockbox. It is a separate facility from Texas Service Center.

I am October 8th NOA1 and I haven't get any answer.... If you believe they put accurate things on their web site or you are going to get a helpful answer when you call them you will be wasting your time.... The only thing we have to do is just wait.... It is so painful for us to see all the people who filed after us to be approved but we still have to wait..... (I was thinking everything would be done by February and April is almost gone and we still waiting.....

Last week TSC did a great job. From late February to the beginning of the April we used to see just two or three approvals a day and sometimes none. Last week they did a really good job they kept approving like 7 or 8 petitions a day. If they keep working from now on as they did last week we can see the days from 200+ to decrease. However as we all know we can not predict TSC and we shall wait and see how things will be moving from now on.

I used to check the igor's list everyday while they were approving August fillers. It took over a month to reach the number of approvals from 100 to 145. While last week the number of approved petitions for September was 99 now you can see its 129.
