I find it amazing that people here can't tell right from wrong in this scenario, or that there's something very off about someone committed to a career in animal welfare participating in a pointless act of cruelty against an animal.

The pro hunt pro gun crowd are so adamant about their position that it's ok to shoot 'vermin' that they'll prostitute their own morals to do so.

I'm not all that surprised really. New scenario, but the names don't change.

We're talking about people who can't tell the difference between a domesticated and a feral cat. We're talking about people who believe shooting an animal 'just coz' is part of a routine day. It's apparent we're dealing with people of limited intellectual resources. The Edina Monsoon Tax should attach in this case.

At 7:59 this morning, the Austin County Sheriff has completed the investigation of the Animal Cruelty case first reported to us last Friday. The completed case file has been turned over to the Austin County District Attorney for filing of charges under Texas Penal Code 42.092.

With the completion of the investigation, the Sheriff's Office will not release any further comments or updates to this case. Any comments, questions or information requests must be made directly to the District Attorney's Office.

Just a little update :dancing:

The investigation of Kristen Lindsey for charges of Animal Cruelty was presented to the Austin County Gra nd J ury on June 24, 2015. The Grand Ju ry retu rned a "No Bill" in this case. A find ing of "No Bill" ind icates the Grand Jury examined all the evidence and determined there was insufficient proof to charge Kristen Lindsey with a crime.

The Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners has moved to revoke the license of Dr. Kristen Lindsey, who boasted on social media about fatally shooting a cat with a bow and arrow.
