Ok...question is a little off topic, but here goes:

We are in the home stretch to bring my step-daughter here from the Philippines. I've been looking at flights to and from Manila just to get an idea. Our plan is to fly my wife home for 2 weeks, me joining her for the last week, then all 3 of us coming back together. If we fly my wife from Cleveland me from Toronto, then all 3 of us back to Toronto which will save us 300 - 400 bucks. My wife and I will be fine...(wife has a green card and all that.) I think it may be an issue for my step daughter. Can she fly into Canada, then drive to the border at Niagara, making that her POE? I think there may be a visa requirement to enter through Canada? Does her residency 'visa' negate that fear?
