He can find out what vaccinations he had by doing a blood test.

Not necessarily.

A blood test can determine immunity to some viruses, but not all. Immunity is not always conferred via vaccination ... eg, childhood exposure to the disease could confer immunity without any vaccination at all.

Additionally, a small portion of the population never demonstrate immunity to some viruses even after multiple vaccinations.
