So I spoke to my fiancé last night and he said that there will be more money needed on his end... The medical exam can only take place in London and the interview as well. This is quite a jaunt from where he lives. Is there a checklist or something available that gives me ALL the details of this process? I want to make sure we do everything correctly and do not forget any forms he might need to take with him. It cannot be a wasted trip to London from Scotland. Is there a set fee for the medical exam and interview? Thanks for the help..

Unfortunately the distance is far to travel, and yes the fiance will need to go to London twice.

Here's a few things I think will be of help to you:

First review the K-1 visa guide: that will tell you all the forms and evidence (and evidence the foreign fiancé will need to send) you need to send in with your application. http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Next jump on over to the UK K1 guide which will tell you pretty much everything you need to know about the rest of the process, and what the beneficiary needs to do to prepare (police certificate and vaccinations) - including more detail on the forms the petitioner will need to send to the beneficiary.
