AOS Process & Steps to Expect? [split topic]

Hi all,

Please feel free to redirect this post to the appropriate thread in case I am on wrong thread.

I am new to this thread and VJ. Although, I have been following VJ for some insights and information around F4 category. I am in US on H1B and my priority date for F4 petition become current with April 2015 VB and so I have applied for AOS last week. I would like to be part of a thread where I can get some information on what should I expect as part of the AOS process as in what are the next steps and responses that I should expect from USCIS. I have prepared and submitted my AOS application with help of an immigration attorney so I expect things to go smoothly as far as paperwork and completeness of AOS application is concerned.

My timeline so far is as below:

Send AOS package to Chicago Lockbox on 04/03

AOS packaged received at Chicago Lockbox on 04/06

....

What should be the next steps and what is the current turnaround/response time from USCIS on these cases?

Truly appreciate the help and input from all VJ members.
