I am new here and I am about to apply for K1 visa.

Wanted you to confirm me ultimately what shud we include in the package to fast the process and be most accurate on it?

What documents sent supplementary shortcuts the process? I am preparing Affidavit of support to send it with the other Forms.

Also, i read that the package shud be sent in dallas or lewisville. Is it wrong if we send it in california directly since we read there is much more faster? Is there a possibility for the packet to get lost or not to be gotten under reviews or such?

Thank you a lot and wish for all an easy and fast process.

You cannot make the process faster or get shortcuts.

You can just make sure you send in everything that is asked for, filled in properly.

Used the k1 guide and flow chart.

Also all petitions get sent to the Texas lockbox, from there they are routed to their destination which is either Texas or California.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/538432-process-for-the-mailing-and-receiving-of-i-129f-petitions/

But most petitions are being routed to California right now to even the work load.

So aim for the petition to be approved in 6 months and be happy when it's less.

Read the guides more than once, look around the website, check out the regional forum, search for your questions in the search box as they may have been answered before.

what if i send (birth cert, police certificate, military etc) and the petitioner (affidavit of support documents) with the main package, wouldnt it be much easier?

No. Because those are required at the interview. Sending them ahead to a building that does not require them will not help as they are for a second and different part of the process.

The I-129f petition is just to apply to apply for a visa.

And then the beneficiary has to apply for the actual visa which is what the interview is.

So it's two different processes.

We are glad to answer your questions and help you, but you must help your self also, please read the ""Guides"" section at the top of the home page.

Click on K-1 visa, and start ""reading, and reading, and reading".,.,,.and make notes until you know exactly what to do.

I would plan on anywhere from 4 -9 months, start to finish, depending on which service center you are sent to Texas, or California.

But all K-1's are mailed to the "lock box" in Texas to start with.

You have a lot of reading, and studying to do, but we are here to help you, especially after you become a little more informed.

Thank you for your responding.

I am very informed and have completed my documents and im about to submit them anytime.

My question concerned if anyone here would help telling what they have submitted supplemental that helps the approval.

OP:

Welcome to the forum.

I noticed your initial thread title, be sure to use the correct form.

Form I-129 = Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker

Form I-129F = Petition for Alien Fiance(e)

As other have mentioned, :guides: easily accessible at the top of the forum page. You would do well to fully follow the instructions and guides from USCIS and VJ as previously mentioned. If you prematurely send in documents and forms that will be required later on in the process, you run the risk of having "stale" or dated documents and a request for new documents. This actually may result in further delay in processing of your visa package.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
