Nigeria- packets?

Good morning !!!!

I know I'm a few months ahead of myself, but I've been reading about the packets that are sent at the embassy/consulate level to the beneficiary (requested documents seem to vary throughout different countries) and I was wondering if anyone that has been through the process already in Lagos could give me a heads up about the process they went through?

What are all the documents they are requesting? Are the instructions clear as to which documents you send back to the consulate and which ones you bring to the interview with you? Is there just 1 packet or 2?

I just really like being prepared and I would rather get some of these things started (the ones that don't expire quickly) than to wait until it's crunch time.

For Lagos you will bring everything to interview. Once you get our case# from NVC you can do alot of work ahead of them sending you the P3 letter which is all the forms and documents a K1 petitioner needs to do.

Once you have case# you can go to GTB bank and pay Visa fee than register at the website and schedule your interview. You could Google the DS-260 to get a look at how it looks so you can be ahead of the game with all the questions.

Hopefully you sent a good petition package evidence to bring to interview should contain any trips taken during the process more pics, hoe logs and some samples of your online communication.

Right now you can already start on your part the I-134 getting your transcripts and all financial documents needed.

He should already have his birth certificate (Long Form). Not time yet to get a police report wait until you get case# to get that.

The instructions are the same. All you need is your case# from NVC. Hope you already have all your forms downloaded filled out and to our fiance' for interview.
