Hi everyone!

Last march 3, i sent an SR for my husbands pending AOS (I-485) since it was outside normal processing times and their reply was my husbands case is still at NBC... so after a month, April 3rd, i sent another SR and their reply was waiting my inquiry to be assigned to a representative and no further updates after that... no email, no text, nada!

So, today we checked our mail, and we received an RFE letter dated April 3rd! I am so disappointed and all! and now my husbands medical and vaccination is expired, well of course since we've been waiting for so long, few more days and it's going to be a year now since we submitted the I-485.. that's not our fault! And plus, i have a copy of what i sent to them and i did send all those (except for the proofs of bonafide marriage since he is adjusting from K1, i think those are the ones asked during interview??).. Aarrgh! Am so upset! :angry:

Anyway, here's a copy of our letter!

Does my husband have to do the whole medical again?? or just the vaccination record??

What other evidence can we provide?? Pls. Help!

That RFE means they are adjusting your case now, you should be happy.

Your spouse needs to fill another G-325A and pictures.

Bring vaccination worksheet to immigration doctor and transcribe to a new I-693.

Send in new bona-fide since you submitted your AOS last time, you should have plenty of them now.

Send all in ASAP to have your AOS adjusted. Good luck.

Yes that's why they stated "I-693/vaccines"

but they also said his medical already expired, maybe that's why i thought he also needs his medicals?

Like I said before, wording is so vague. Medical expired because it passed 1 year, however vaccines will never expire. USCIS asks people to fill out I-693 for vaccinations because they dont have all vaccines that requires by CDC and their medical exam might be under 1 year. I would recommend to do the whole medical to prevent any problem such receive another RFEs or even deny your application.

Also, I read your signature which states that your husband did fill out I-693 completed vaccines. Why would they need another I-693 for vaccinations only when vaccines will not expire?

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

I know, that is very unclear to me too.. Anyway, i will probably just have him do the whole medical and vaccinations to be on the safe side..

I won't download it as I don't download unknown files on the internet. I have yet to get a virus on a computer and dont plan on starting. Lol. I'm paranoid ;) It's better to copy and paste, scan to an image, or take a screen shot and then redact important info.

Hopefully someone who is okay with downloading it can help you otherwise. Best of luck to you!
