Hi,

I'm new in this site. I have a question regarding on petitioning my mother to live here in the USA.

Currently, I don't have a job, I'm a US citizen already. Can I petition my mother from the Philippines even if I don't have income yet?

Would it be possible if I'll petition her and my husband would be a co-sponsor?

Do you need to be a citizen to co-sponsor?

Hi

no, LPR can also be joint sponsors. USC or LPR

I was a LPR when I became my brother's joint sponsor for my nephew

does that mean that if the parents have hospital bills and they dont have income, will the co sponsor pays for them?

U.S. residents (everyone) are required to have/buy health insurance.

The I-864 sponsors are responsible for means tested benefits that the immigrants receive. This includes Medicaid.
