anyone from Kuwait?

I'd appreciate a response from any who has gone through the process in Kuwait consulate for any type of visa. I am having no luck getting an email response from them. Does anyone know a phone number for immigrant visa unit or another way to contact them? Do they generally not respond to emails?

Here is a link to the Embassy website in Kuwait with their contact information: http://kuwait.usembassy.gov/contact.html

When we did a K-1 visa in 2012, we never had a problem with a response via email to kuwaitIV@state.gov. Turn around time was at most 2 days to respond. I found that to be the best way to contact them in my situation.

Good luck!

That's why I am so worried. They haven't responded to emails for a week. Not sure why. The website phone numbers only provide automated answers. No option to talk to a live person.

Hmm..seems odd. Well, I called after hours once from the States and ended up speaking with someone live. My question was generic and not visa related so they were able to answer it for me. I say give that a try and see if they can give you a better or more direct number to call for immigrant visas.

That's all I can suggest at this point.
