31 days since NOA2 and still not NVC received

Tonight, I will call NVC again for the millionth time. I'm nervous and my heart is already beating fast, hoping for good news, but my mind expects to hear the same old bad news, "it takes up to 35 days for NVC to receive and process your case" nonsense that I keep hearing. It's already been 92 days since the first time USCIS/TSC sent our case to NVC. It's been 112 days since NOA2 and 19 days since they resent the case it to NVC. Yeah, it's frustrating that some get their cases from NOA2 to NVC in less than 19 days, but I'm still happy for everyone else who has cases that are moving smoothly. For those in the same position as us, I feel for you and hope that we all hear good news soon.

It looks like today is the day for good news. I got a follow up call from Congresswoman Johnson's office today. She said there was an update to our case. I'm now on hold with NVC waiting to talk to someone about our case. :dancing: I'm hoping that I will get a case number and can start the visa process going and be with my finance soon.

Just a suggestion to you Tonykh, but while your timeline appears updated, your signature isn't. Maybe you can update both so it won't confuse readers.

Congrats on the NVC step!
