My packet was received on April 3rd, receipts were emailed to me for I-130, 1-485 and 1-765 and only 1 hard copy came through the mail which was for 1-765.

I figured I would have got my biometrics appointment by now and the other hard copy NOAs :( Waiting to book my flight to Anchorage whilst the prices are good!!

Wow, so the biometrics apt took longer than I expected. Took me almost 2 hours to get done.
Also, it's showing online that an RFE was mailed for the i-485. I wonder what it is regarding...

04/02/2015: AOS (1-130, I-131, I-485, I-765) package sent to Chicago Lockbox
04/07/2015: Day 0: AOS package accepted

04/09/2015: Day 2: AOS package was routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center

04/10/2015: Day 3: Checks cashed

04/14/2015: Day 7: Hard copies of NOA received for all the forms

04/17/2015: Day 10: Received biometrics appointment for 04/28

04/28/2015: Day 21: Biometrics complete

05/01/2015: Day 24: RFE received

05/11/2015: Day 34: RFE response sent

06/02/2015: Day 56: I-485 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

07/02/2015: Day 86: Received EAD approval letter in mail

07/16/2015: Day 100: Received EAD-AP combo card in mail

I been looking through this forum and finally decided to join and share my timeline

Uscis received my package 04/01/15

Received txt/email notifications on 04/03/15

Got receipts on the Mail on 4/07/15

Received biometrics appointing on 04/14/15 for 04/21/15

Biometrics done on 04/21/15

Now I'm just waiting on my interview I have not received any updates since biometrics good luck everyone

Aos local office is Chula Vista, Ca

I-485/I-130

Sent package March 25, 2015

Txt notification April 1, 2015

NOA mail receipts April 7,2105

Biometrics notice April 14,2015

Biometrics April 21,2015

I-130 June 28,2015 updated but status is still case recieved

August 11 interview schedule for sept 16 2015 ??

Has any one else received their biometrics notice? I'm on day 24, and haven't got one yet. Really trying to be patient!

Day 0- April 6th, 2015- Mailed AOS to Chicago Lockbox (Form I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)

Day 2- April 8th, 2015- Package recieved

Day 8- April 14th, 2015- E-notifications- 12 emails and 12 texts "Your case was received". Checks cashed.

Day 12- April 18th, 2015- Hard copies of "Notice Of Action" for all 4 forms came in mail.

Day 26- May 2nd, 2015- Biometrics notice received in the mail, appointment for May 12th.

Day 28- May 4th, 2015- Successful Biometrics walk in completed.

Day 80- June 29th, 2015- Received letter stating EAD approved, and interview for July 30th. Yay!

Day 92- July 15th, 2015- Received EAD combo card in the mail.

Day 107- July 30th, 2015- Interview, approved on the spot!!!

Request for initial evidence notice was mailed for I-485 , wonder what its for ?? waiting for the letter .

04/02/15 - Sent my pack (I485,I130,1765)

04/06/15 - Pack received Chicago lockbox.

04/13/15 - Received NOA hard copies for all three forms.

04/28/15 - Request for initial evidence notice was mailed for I-485

I received my biometrics notice in the mail yesterday. Yay! It has instructed me to go to Chatsworth on May 12th- which is pretty far away from me! I'm going to attempt a walk-in in LA tomorrow, and see how I go!

Hope everyone is doing OK with the waiting! Drives me nuts sometimes, and other times I can (thankfully) go a few hours without thinking about it!!!

@stallion and @nycfa2015, let us know when you hear about the RFEs. Hope its easily fixed!!!

Hello guys

so im new on here and i must commend everyone for the help you render on here in terms of advise & sharing your experiences. Ermm..ok, I just want to find out people with the same time line as me so i can follow up with them. I sent in AOS (marriage based) on the 10th April, i got emails of receipt on the 16th and hard copies came in on the 22nd which says case forwarded to NBC for processing but thats all in have heard from my case and online still says received. Pls if your out there with this same timeline or slightly apart pls do let me know whats going on on ur side.

I walked in to the Wilshire support center yesterday, in LA, but they (very kindly) denied me. They have over 400 appointments in a day. So I drove to the one on Fairfax and Pico, and luckily got in! The security guard said there were only two officers working, but if I wanted to wait, I could. So I did! They were really lovely and efficient. So my biometrics is all done!

I'm not sure if early walk-ins speed up the process, but it's nice to be done with it. I have a feeling the real LONG wait begins now...
