I have degree in science and computers but i actually didn't got chance to feel college because i had to work at the same time.

The knowledge and degree will get me job when i come US. But i want to pursue studies... Something other than computer or science .

I am 30 will they take me in University. And all we need to get admission in University. Is there any special test that i have to give for applying further studies ?

Any idea or info guys

P.s. : i have FRPS in photography and i will send my submission for evalution to get FIPS from RPS.

Being older and already having degrees could count in your favour when it comes to admission. I'd suggest you contact the University you intend to study at and enquire about their admissions process. No-one here can give you a blanket answer as each instituion differs.

You have an immigration visa which makes you a US resident so you can work or study, it's up to you. Studying at college in the US is ridiculously expensive though and since you already have a degree, you might just wanna take some classes to learn the "American way" of doing things. I work in accounting and I'm studying for an Accounting Specialist Certificate just to learn how my profession is done in the US.

I misunderstood your question, sorry, of course you can. You can basically do anything US citizens are allowed to do besides vote. A permanent residence status entitles you to study or work.

Don't worry. I went to college at 33 years old. Try 10 times than others if English is your second language. Everything will be OK.

Here is a great thing.

The beautiful thing about US is that it's never late to learn, it's actually encouraged :)

Another beautiful thing, once you are in US, get a state ID ASAP, like the next day.

Once you can prove a residence in the state, residence longer then 1 year, you'll be able to attend state college and universities at a resident cost, which is waaay lower.

Granted, you'll need to be admitted to the university but the community college is welcoming everyone.

That's what did, I took a English and math placement test and was enrolled in the community college.

Ie. Santa Monica College:

Cost per unit :

$46 resident

$249 non resident

$335 international student

If you are to get an CA ID today, you would be eligible for the resident rate on April 4, 2016

Until the, the unit would cost you $249

My degree was in Computer Science, and have worked in the

software development/management/consulting for about 3 decades

and the field in computer just gets better each year.

Practically 1/3 of the top 20 jobs in US have been in computer field

for the past 20+ years. You might want to give it more thoughts

about career in computer field.

But if that's not for you, and if you already have a bachelor degree,

then you might consider applying for the graduate (master degree) school.
