You have likely been automatically registered by USCIS already.

You can check by calling Selective Service at 1-888-655-1825 during normal business hours.

Most likely you have been already registered, but I would call anyways to make sure it is active in the system.

My husband was automatically enrolled but somehow, it was not active in the system. He received a card/letter saying he was registered once his AOS was approved. We only found out it wasn't active when he was applying for a federal student loan and they told him he was eligible as he wasn't registered. Once he called his status changed and he received a new letter/card with the date showing back to when his AOS was approved.

Registering for selective service does not mean that you need to serve in the military. When registering you can select continuous objection.
