signing up for Loomis

Ok having looked at the various threads about how to sign up for Loomis and also researching the website myself I am thoroughly confused and don't want to mess up my wifes application.

First of all I think they updated their website as of Feb 1, 2015. The old information seems to no longer apply.

Then the link page takes you to the non-immigrant visa page no the immigrant visa page.

Once I got to the immigrant visa page it asks for name, email and password. It doesn't specifically ask you to create a password but I am assuming so. Can all the recent folks who already completed help a Canucks husband out. Please offer step by step guidance as it seems the government wants to make everything as confusing as possible. Thanks in advance.

Decided to go for it on my own with my wife. She gave me her passport information and just went through the process at the immigration visa link. I guess everything went ok because at the end it had her appointment information listed. By the way you also need the confirmation number from your DS-260. Hope this helps someone

Did you sign up a courier? When I booked my interview it only asked me to choose the nearest loomis branch in my place but that's it and I keep reading that you need to sign up courier, I'm wondering if they two different thing lol!

I was confused about this too. You have to register here - https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv creating a username and password (at least for K-1) and CEAC has to say Ready. I had a lot of trouble with this, but there is a number you can call and she created my account and picked my courier and interview date for me over the phone as I signed up for Non-Immigrant at first. Was very helpful just to call as I was overly excited to get an interview date and my head wasn't on straight.

Once you create an account you can pick your courier. From there, there is a drop down of addresses and locations. This is the location of where your visa will be shipped. You can pick the closest one. I also read once it gets to the location you can email them to have it shipped to your address for another fee.

Closest one to me is London - which is a 2 hour drive. Haven't decided if we'll just pick it up or not yet.

Looks like you are CR-1 so process might be different as they pick your interview date. This was the same location I picked my interview date.

yes you have to create an account first and then provide your ds 260 confirmation number for theIR1/ CR1 applicants. Then it will prompt you to a page for which loomis delivery location you would like. Somewhere in there it also gives you a registration number which i have but don't know if it will be needed for interview.
