To answer your question-- since it seems many people are here just to judge you-- no, your children nor your BCC will be taken. My husband has crossed with his BCC with our son who is a U.S. citizen and no one said anything.

I had forgot about Canada, I guess they have the advantage of geography, long walk.

I have seen a few like that but also those who have come here multiple times to give birth with seemingly no issues.

2) If you were not a USC, and you had the chance for your kids to be US citizens I wager that every single person on this board would take advantage of that

WRONG!!! Every person from a VWP can fly over and give birth in the US without issue if they want to, very few do. So no, not every person in the world want to live in the US or be US citizens.

There's something very wrong in when you deliberately cross the border to give birth in another country, just so your children can become citizens in that country and bring the parents over. It creates a big burden on all of us going through this process the right way.

I fail to see how CBP are you just gonna let a foreign citizen cross the order with two USC children without suspecting immigration intent?!?!

I think many of you are forgetting that:

1.) Many people live on the border and cross the border daily to run errands, etc-- in our case my Mexican husband has crossed with our USC son for our son's doctors appointments, etc. and hasn't been questioned of immigration intent because they cross together often and always come back to Mexico that same day. I know this is the case for many Mexican nationals who have USC children.

2.) Not everyone who can/does come to U.S. wants to stay! (imagine that)

My only comment was to ask if you needed to make sure you have a travel document signed by your spouse so the officers know he/she is aware that you are traveling with the children. That's the concern I usually address.
