proof of ties and taking NCLEX-RN in the states

Hi everyone, i have previously asked about tourist visa application but did not get clear answers.

Planning to visit bf for the holidays in the states, I'm from PI but currently working overseas. He will be transitioning from military to civilian so he will have to go back to the US maybe until Christmas and until he gets a new civilian job.

He offered to cover expenses, and I will be staying with him. Should I mention this during the interview?

Also since I'm currently processing my papers for the NCLEX-RN, I might probably take the exam while im there, if and when visa is granted. Should I mention this too if asked?

We have no plans of getting married yet and I am looking at spending just 2 weeks in the states for Christmas and New Year.

Regarding proof of ties and finances to fund my travel, do I need to have a certain amount of money in my bank account? I have little savings in a PI bank account and some money in my foreign bank account. I feel what I have isn't enough so he also offered "show money" to add. Also I have a house in the PI of which mortgage im still paying. Will these be enough proof of ties, together with my work certificate?

Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.

The work certificate and mortgage will work in your favour, having him pay won't because that is considered a tie to him, not to PI.

Always tell the truth if asked, but you don't need to offer any additional information. For example, if asked where you are staying then you should probably tell them. But if asked the reason for your trip. 'tourism' is sufficient

good luck
