Still waiting

Saturday will make it 5 months since I have been waiting for Nebraska to send me a decision notice. I called USCIS and the agent I spoke to told me to call monday so they can do the E-request that I am outside normal processing time and he said after that I would get a decision notice within 15days is that accurate? Has anyone ever had to do the E-request form and how long you had to wait to get a response back?

You will see that NSC is still basically working on petitions from October. Additionally, you will not be outside of normal processing times- they state 5 months. I know that most would interpret that to mean within 5 months, but it means up to the end of 5 months- or to put it another way before you reach 6 months.

Thank you. I got happy for no reason I really thought I was going to get something by April 20th. Why can't they transfer some cases to other services centers. 5 months is a long time to wait then come to a point that the 5 months is not very accurate

Yes 5 months is a long time. Do not loose hope yet, it is possible you will have your NOA2 by April 20, just don't be upset if you get it after that time! The 5 months reported time frame is technically accurate, they are approving petitions by the end of 5 months. (Before you reach 6 months)

Unfortunately. We are waiting for our NOA2 for 5 months as well (Our NOA 1 is October 20).

My husband called to NSC to ask about our case status few days ago. They told him they are delaying and we must wait for about 30-45 days.

I called today, received the call from Tier 2 just to have phone disconnected.

Called back again, they coulnt transfer me because the call volume.

Ugh

And to be fair, I had no idea how different day 160 was from day 170 and especially 175 is.

So for all Of that are still waiting for NOA2, and especially all of you that are in 180+ ... I am sending you a virtual hug.

And the couples that are at 200+ days .... Sending you an extra long virtual hug and support.
