When it asks total gross income on irs form 1040ez is this the total income line which is line 22 on my dad (co sponsors) tax returns or is it the adjusted gross income line 37 that I put on the affidavit ? As well my dad and mom file jointly so the total income on the tax returns is their income together is this what I put for my dads total income on the 864 even though it is both of their incomes together and when it asks these things for my mom on the 864a do I put the combined income for them both as well. Sorry for silly questions just don't want to mess up .

I called the NVC and they said the review time now has dropped to 45 days. However I didn't properly fill out the agent of choice form and didn't get invoiced IV bill. I just filled out agent of choice properly the NVC rep it takes 40 days to process the form and get IV invoice, that doesn't sound right, does it?

How soon after one's DS-261 is reviewed does the IV fee get invoiced, please? After one month of paying the AOS fee, I finally got an agent to review my DS-261 over the phone yesterday but still can't pay the IV fee online. My online portal still says the DS-261 is "Completed" but "No Agent or Attorney Selected" a day after it was supposedly reviewed.

Finishing up the DS-260 and 2 quick questions-

1) Do I include my husbands (Petitioner) son's details under information about children?

2) There's a character limitation on the text box where I need to mention my 'given names' and I can't complete my full name. Is that OK and I just include whatever fits in or do I use initials?

It is taking a long time with IV invoicing currently. It took about 4 weeks for us (scan date 26 march). Send your documents in the meantime. We called NVC and that is what we were told to do.

You may want to check with NVC first as each case may be different. I assume your AOS fee is paid.

Good luck.

Luck is what we all need right now.

I'm confused. We filled out DS-261 and paid AOS fee on 4th of March. Form is shown as Completed, fee as Paid.

There is "Pay Now" link for IV Fee, but there is no IV fee available for payment. Just info on AOS fee and for IV Fees "Total Amount Selected: $0.00".

Is it supposed to be like that or should I start calling NVC?

We haven't sent the packages yet as I'll be getting a police certificate only next week.
