If you get to live in PH, don't use Sun or Smart!

Here's a good proof not to use Sun even Smart as they are one, anywhere in the Country. Its service always has this interruption. So poor coverage even in capital cities.

Using LTE via Smart no data problems for me as of late here in Manila, or at least since late last year for any extended internet/data outtages. (Not counting when they shut the networks down during the Pope's visit). Use this as my primary source of internet.

Even still the PHL still has a poor data/cell infrastructure and service compared to the rest of SE Asia.

Cell/Internet service while I was in HK last summer was blazing fast and service inquiries & requests much more helpful.

Yeah never ha problems with Sun network. We even have a smart wifi TE device. Works well. It does at times drop, but I view that as normal, haha in Davao City.

I carry a cheapo Nokia phone with dual sims, I carry Smart and SUN IDD - Sun is for calling USA, only cost 1 peso per minute and great coverage

I also carry a I-phone with Globe.

Coverage is always mixed, sometimes great sometimes suxs. Works out really well if your gf or wife is trying to call/text you and you are in another city.....

We have to use Smart in ComVal due to poor signal with Globe.

My asawa says slow service and dropped calls is weather related. Easier for me to just agree.

She is visiting relatives in Cam Norte and I can confirm that at least outside Daet / Vinzones Globe service is very sporadic.

Quality of service is really dependent on where and when (and maybe even weather ).

I used Smart when I was in the PHL, no problems for me but then again I lived in the city. Although I heard from colleagues and friends, that Smart have better coverage in the provinces.
