Progress thread for TSC filers now between NVC and Interview Stage

You can also work on your DS160, and save it for later to finish as well. You can see from our timeline how fast our status went to ready, the only reason our medical appointment was far out was due to his work obligations. Knightsbridge isn't *that* crammed with appointments, I'm sure you'll be able to get one a few days to a week or so after your status is ready. It varies of course, but I certainly wouldn't book a month out if you have no reason to do so. If you want to be absolutely sure, wait until you have know your case number and CEAC changes to ready, but don't get ahead of yourself booking so far out... unless for some reason you don't mind waiting, do you? :P

Haha, I work very near to the medical center so If I was told tomorrow I could have one I would. What im trying to get at is what is the earliest point I can book an appointment without compromising anything else. Assume I have everything ready and I want to do it as soon as possible.,

My wife-to-be has bene utilising her congressman contact who contact the NVC about our case to see how it's progressing along at the Embassy. They were able to confirm that they'd received my medical results. So far so good.

What was curious is that they said they were awaiting the fingerprint results before scheduling an interview? Any ideas?! Obviously I've not been instructed to get fingerprints taken as part of the K1 process so assuming they are looking at police records to see if they have any fingerprints under my name as part of any criminal activity? I have a clear record (as proven by the Police Certificate obtained) so that one puzzled us a bit!
