question after interview day!

Hi guys i was so happy today that i passed the interview.. Thank you so much guys for helping me through this k1 visa journey. Now i got a question about the DS 160 they put a red marker on it after the oath taking and when i finished the interview i went to the step 5 which is releasing and the guy on the window told me i will wait for the visa to deliver and i can go home. Now the ds 160 with marker he didnt take it and i go exit on the embassy. Its that normal they will not need it?

01-11-2015: Submitted I-129F petition

01-15-2015: USCIS received the package i-129f

01-21-2015: Received notification with receipt no.

01-27-2015: Received hard copy of NOA1

02-02-2015: Approved petition (yay!!! So fast)

02-06-2015: Received hard copy of NOA2

02-18-2015: Assigned MNL case #

03-03-2015: Received hard copy of NVC Letter

03-16-2015: Medical

03-17-2015: Medical result passed!(Thank god)

03-30-2015: Interview (Passed! Thank god)

AOS timeline - 6/26/2015 - applied for SS card (in my MAIDEN name) > 7/6/2015 - received SS card in the mail > 7/3/2015 - Sent AOS packet > 7/14/2015 - Got confirmation text/email from USCIS > 7/20/2015 - Received NOAs for I-485 & I-765 > Aug. 2015 - Received EAD > Mar. 2016 Received conditional GC (no interview) expires March 2018

GC (ROC) timeline

Jan. 25, 2018 Submitted I-751 paperwork to remove GC conditions > Feb. '18 Received I-797 > Mar. '18 Received appointment for bio-metrics / biometrics done.

It's a badge of courage. Wear it proudly. :dancing: They have a digital file of the DS-160, and since it is not needed any longer, as you have passed your interview, There isn't anywhere in the future filings, like the AOS process, that it will ever be used again. Like it has been said, file it away for safe keeping, one never knows what changes to the processing any future paperwork it will be needed. Highly doubt it, but hey, stranger things have happened. Congrats!! :thumbs:
