Yep, that's where I saw mine changed yesterday. Actually, it didn't change until about 1 a.m. eastern time Saturday (today). I also got a text at yes 1 a.m.

give it about a week it took me and a friend of mine exactly that for the case to get there . Then you get to wait some more for a case number .

I won't even call for two weeks, not worth the irriation of the phone system they have going. If I'm going to call, I'm going to sure the information I need is available.

Usually after your case says approved on the uscis website it will change to sent to the department of state when they actually mail your case out to the nvc .

There must be something wrong if it's been three weeks and mine hasn't even left Cali!!

Mine sat there for 2 weeks doing nothing I was so annoyed, my noa2 came the 3rd of March they sent it the 18th (when it changed) got to the nvc on the 25th a week later .

I've heard it's possible that it never changes for a rare few so who knows if that is your case but most of the time it changes for people . If you have the free time and want to keep calling the nvc that's about all you can really do .

Mine has been there for over three weeks! Still just states my case was approved. I'm gonna call USCIS on Monday to see what the hold up is!

CSC doesn't notify you when they send your case to NVC. I waited 2 weeks from receiving the hardcopy to start calling NVC.

So on my case status I won't see an update saying 'left' or something like that?

Correct. So while we get a quick approval-we don't get a notice on when they send it to NVC.

Riiiiiiiiight! I'm with you. So it's not all centres that do that, ok. Well it's been over three weeks now and will be 4 on Friday! Getting a little annoyed but what you gonna do!

Thank you!

Try again tomorrow-I don't know what the weather situation has been like back there, so you might want to take that into account if it's been bad.

I don't know her, mine NOA2 was on March 20 and my status changed on March 27....for reference. I won't even call for 2 weeks to get the number, just because I called once and it was an annoyance to say the least. They were extremely helpful and really nice when I got on the phone, she also suggested that I even call back once a week which was considerate.

What time did you call? I tried the other night, very late (last hour they were open as it was the only time I could do it) and couldn't get past the automated message about the high call volume. We are probably a bit early, because ours only went out about a week ago, but it just feels so good being able to actually DO something after just waiting in the dark, that we are fine with multiple attempts. Aside from first thing when they open (I'm at work at that time so it's difficult) is there a next best time to try call?

It was around noon eastern so I definitely got the same message you did about ten tunes then got through....it's after that you go though all the menus then get on hold for life. I'm pretty sure only ten trieswas lucky.

Or you called at a better time. I tried 56 times. I counted them because I was so hopeful that I could say it was only x number of redials. I guess it's a bit of a lottery and if I want to be impatient about it, persistence is going to have to go along with it. Thanks.
