Curious about NVC

Hmmm...

I'm just wondering. Why have only TSC approved petitions with March NAO2s been received at NVC? Even petitions with NAO2s after mine (06.03.2015) which came from CSC have been received at NVC.

Is it because it's closer to the the NVC?

Just curious.

Mine came from Nebraska and got there this past week . Took a week from the day they actually sent it to get there . It sat in the office for two weeks after my approval though . -_-

Maybe, but also reading tons of forums on here even though CSC is faster with approvals they seem to be slow for the NVC process. I've read stories of it taking up to 2 months.

TWO MONTHS!! Are you having a laugh? That's ridiculous! Well I guess that's only fair! If people who are at TSC have to wait 8 months just for NAO2, 2 months at NVC isn't really a big deal.

I'm guessing they try and make things go quicker for the people who have been waiting for a long time.

No, I'm having a go at you, but yes there's stories. Typically what you'll find is two to three and you should be able to call and get your case number.

If you call they will answers your questions but also tell you to wait 35 days.

Yep, that's all they've been telling me. I'm gonna call on Monday and see if they can answer why petitions with NAO2 dates after mine have been received already. Hopefully I get a helpful person.

Of course you are free to do as you wish, but don't expect any real answer to that. Except they are sent in groups, not as individual petitions. Maybe whoever or whatever section is working on yours hasn't filled up their box or packet or however that works. I doubt the helpline would know, but I would be interested in the answer..

I don't know her, mine NOA2 was on March 20 and my status changed on March 27....for reference. I won't even call for 2 weeks to get the number, just because I called once and it was an annoyance to say the least. They were extremely helpful and really nice when I got on the phone, she also suggested that I even call back once a week which was considerate.

Usually after your case says approved on the uscis website it will change to sent to the department of state when they actually mail your case out to the nvc .

Yep, that's where I saw mine changed yesterday. Actually, it didn't change until about 1 a.m. eastern time Saturday (today). I also got a text at yes 1 a.m.
