Photos for Knightsbridge and Police Certificate

Can anyone confirm please exactly how many more photos I need to have done? I ask as in the "London K1 - a complete guide" it states:

"UK Beneficiary

  1. Go get your photos done. You're going to need 2x UK size and 1x US size. The two UK size photos are for your Medical and for your Police Certificate. Your US size one is for the Embassy – no longer do you need 2 of them, only one as they scan them in digitally. US size photos can be done at most photo booths at a cost of around £7 for 4 photos."

And also:

"Knightsbridge now require 4 passport pictures instead of just 1 now. Here is a quote from the email I received from them after booking an appointment:

"4 X Identical Passport sized photo UK or US size (please note this has recently increased and may not be updated on the online medical packs)""

At present I have 3 x US size passport photos left over from the set of 4 taken for the initial I-129F application (1 x photo went with the I-129F). I was going to get another 4 x UK size photos done, but if I need to use one for the Police Certificate I will end up with 3 x UK sized and 3 x US sized photos.

For the Police Certificate, Medical and Interview, exactly how many photos do I need and what size do they need to be?

Many thanks for the clarification!

When I went to Tesco to get my photos done for the police certificate (I used the british passport selection) it gave me 5 pics. So if you get that one, you'll send off one for the police certicate and will be left with four for the meidcal. I think it was £5. I made a mistake on the back of one of those photos so I have to get more lol. Hope this helps.

Things change so the updates get added to the end until a new guide gets written. Links have changed too.

I believe the current info is--

Police certificate- 1 UK. They have an online application now where you can upload a photo.

Medical- 4 identical photos. UK or US size. They don't care about size.

Embassy- 1 US. They have been handing that back to people lately.

Thanks for the prompt response!

Howeetest D - that's good to know! when I got my I-129F (US sized) photos done at Tescos, you only get four. I'll pop back down there and get a set of 5 UK pics done.

Nich-Nick - Thanks for the clarification. I already have 3 US sized photos left, so one of those can be used for the Embassy. I'm looking at doing the Police certificate online, which means I'll only need 4 x UK pictures done for the medical.

Thanks again!
