Hi,

I made an account in USCIS.gov to check the status of our petition and whenever I add the receipt number of our case it says invalid.

Is this normal? I just copied the receipt number we received in our email and we already received the hard copy of our NOA1.

Thank you!

I tried to check our status on the link you provided and it still says invalid. That's why I tried registering just in case it might work. But it is still the same.

We just received our NOA1 last March 17, 2015. I will try to check it again after a month.

Thank you very much!

The USCIS page ia not always reliable. It didn't find my case for 2 months. There is a member here who's wife has been a citizen for some time and his case number never advanced beyond the first stage.

I see. So we just have to wait for our NOA2 if we cannot access our case status on the website?

Hi, my priority date is October 3rd, I got approved in months and 21 days. I was never able to see my case online until they approved it. My case was at Nebraska Service Center, It is frustrating to go online and see nothing I know that feeling 172 days without nothing. As soon they approve it they gonna update ur case in their website. to me it says validation error u are attending to add a case that does not exist. Whenever my husband called they said they couldn't see anything neither just supervisors high levels could see our case and said it was a system glitch. Good luck

I meant 5 months and 21 days sorry.
