Is anyone else experiencing same issue as me?

I'm trying to check my case status on the USCIS website and it shows me this message:

  • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

I tried logging in and on the cases section LUD (Last Update Date) was 03/24/2015 and when I click on the receipt number, it shows nothing.

Anyone knows what is this all about?

Thank you

Sorry you're having trouble with the site. I've had no issues checking mine and I can see my received message. It's probably just a website issue. They could be updating it again perhaps.

You filed very recently, sometimes it takes a little while for them to update their system too.

Hi There,

Also could you please confirm if you were earlier able to view the case status and this message started coming in recently.

From your update stating that LUD (Last Update Date) was on 03/24/2015, it also seems that your file is being worked upon.

I hope thats the same with us. Hoping for the best.

Kind regards,

ConiMoni

Hi There,

Thank you for sharing your input on the thread. We are also facing the same issue.

We notice that you mentioned that you are able to see your received message, would you mean that the initial message stating that your application has been received on xyz date your receipt number is abc

Would request you to please share more insight on that.

Kind regards,

ConiMoni

Yes that's correct. You'll see that message on your case until you either get approved or send you an RFE. They don't change it otherwise, that I've read of anyway. You should expect it to say received for quite a few months if you're like me and waiting a TSC.

Hi There,

We were receiving that received message up till yesterday evening. However since today we are getting the message:

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

Not sure what might be the problem. Hoping its a good sign.

I see. Well they seem to be doing website updates quite often so it could be just that but you could keep calling the number for more information. I read on another thread that people have reported computer problems for a lot of places like USCIS and NVC etc at the moment. Hope you get that resolved though. Good luck on your journey.

My fiance called NCVC yesterday as we also got the same message. They told him that due to a new program the new system does not show the cases right now. It might take 30-45 days until you can see your case online. He told us that if we received NOA1, it is okay though and we should not worry about it at all.

This makes sense but also confuses me. On Igor's List I see that there are people who got their NOA 2 yesterday.. I was wondering if they received an e-mail or saw an update on the USCIS website for that?

Exactly, we were also able to see our status up till few hours ago and then all of sudden it disappeared. Not sure what's going on.
