Nothing is fast....breath deep in calm down. Uscis will send approved case to the NVC. You will get an email from NVC with further instructions. Read Saylin's NVC wiki her on VJ.

From USCIs you'll get just NOA2 (approval letter) by snail mail.

Abbas,

We were approved March 17 too. But until now we didn't get any e-mail or confirmation letter. It was just on the USCIS website that says were approved. Which service center are you?

It would also help other members if you fill out your timeline.Thank you.

John.

Please read the NVC wiki.

I would suggest reading wiki here. Also, there is not much you can do to expedite the process. Since you said your petition was approved on March 17, you need to give NVC few more days before they recieve it.

Come join the Scan Date to Case Complete thread. To be added to the Scan Date to Case Complete spreadsheet, simply post your Scan Date and/or Case Complete date in the thread. You will be added to the spreadsheet which is available now.

In our case, it took our case two weeks to make it to the NVC. Then it was about 5 weeks to get our numbers and welcome letter. During this time you should get your AOS/IV package ready to go. Once you have your numbers, fill out the 261 and pay the AOS fee. As soon as possible after that, send off your AOS/IV package with the welcome letter checklist/AOS receipt attached which takes 60 days to be reviewed, but some lucky people are getting reviewed around 40 days. NVC says it takes 2 weeks to review your 261 to open the IV fee but it has been closer to 6 weeks for some people. Once the IV fee opens...pay it and fill out the 260. Hopefully, all things will go well and you will get a case complete...if you do things as fast as possible, make no mistakes, and get a few lucky breaks at the NVC....you could be done in 4 months...

We are currently waiting for the package and 261 to be reviewed.

Good luck to all!
