Checklist Confusion

My husband and I received a checklist email today stating that my application was missing 1 document. It states that I need to send in my 2013 W2 or Tax return. I'm confused because I DID send my 2013 tax return. They should have this. Why would they be asking for it? I did not send my W2 because I was told that if I sent my taxes, that would be enough.

Should I send just my taxes again? Should I send both to be safe? Also, does it really typically take another 60 days for them to review the paperwork after I send the missing document(s)?

Thanks for any advice!

choose 1:

1. irs tax transcript or

2. complete tax return. a complete tax return includes the w-2

so, without the w-2, you did not submit a complete tax return.

sorry.

OK thank you. That makes sense. I just wonder now why they only asked for the year 2013 because I sent them 2011-2013 and I only sent the returns and didn't send any W2's. You would think they would ask for all 3 years.

Because in all technicality they only need 2013 at the moment so the fact the others are incomplete isn't a big deal.
