wife has medical issue. Can I speed up EAD?

My wife has had to take a leave from work due to medical issue. We got the acceptance notice on the AOS package. Is there a way we can ask for a speedy process on my EAD so I can find work and help get bills paid?

Nevermind I found the number and called already.

If you are able to prove that you are going through extreme hardship due to your wife's illness, you may be able do that.. I was able to expedite my EAD due to a medical issue, tou will need solid proof though, as well as a letter explaining in detail what's going on..you don't necessarily need to have a job offer, though it helps. Good luck!

Can he apply for work without an EAD? how would he get a job offer without applying? He could start work next week if he wanted. (Wife)

He can apply and even receive job offers, but cannot begin to actually work without the EAD first. If he applies, he can let the employers know he is waiting for his employment authorization. If they are willing to wait, then they could write up a job offer for him to use.
