Those who are waiting in ap for long time know how painful is the waiting time, and we all know very well that isnt truth that all ap end in 60 days like the consulates say.

Today is a year that i went to my interview.

Everybody here know that it doesnt matter what we do at the consulate they dont care about our lives, feelings and pain.

All i can say to everybody here it is that dont give up and continue doing all eforce to try that they listen our voice.

Send letters, e-mails, contact sanator offices and congressman offices.

Pray to God that one day the country of liberty stop the decrimination agains usc spouses and fiances.

Long ap only show that us governement doesnt have capacity to investigate quick or that they dont want do it.

Nowdays it is very easy using all tecnologies investigate everybody in one second.

But they feel happy destroying family's lives.

I hope you get some answers soon. You have been very helpful to many of us on VJ and deserve a happy ending.

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

I'm sorry. I know it is a difficult process. I filed a writ of mandamus after being in AP with my husband for over one year. And the AP was at the consulate level not even at the State Department level.

I would suggest you get your Congressman involved. They can do many things and have many contacts that we don't. At the very least, it certainly won't hurt and may just bring your case in front of the right people to get it moving again. Each Congressional office has people on their staff dedicated to immigration issues and they have been dealing with these cases for a long time. It's also no cost to you, what do you have to lose?
