Not true 221g is the form to deny visa. Op will have to see what it says.

In this case I am thinking they are requesting more information.........

The 221g normally does request additional documents or other evidence, with the stipulation that if the requested documents are not provided in a timely manner this will result in a denial.

Just talked to my fiance. she just had her interview and was denied for evidence of bonified relationship. she got a green 221g. I dont have a clue as to what to do now. we sent them every picture we have together, and tons of chat logs...i dont have anymore specifcs right now. will know more tommorow when she emails me copy of 221, and spend some more time talking to her. what are our options??

Evidence of relationship and meeting in the past 2 years are two separate parts of the application. For proof of relationship I used Facebook chat log, picture and receipt of engagement ring, and western union receipts. Here in VJ it's about 50/50 on who thinks WU receipts should be included. All I can say on that is that we were approved no problem. Everything else we put in proof of meeting, such as plane tickets, pictures, etc. So, maybe see what section they require more of and give them more. Good luck.

One of your options is to try the K-1 again and maybe this time attend the interview with your Fiancee. I attended with mine and the CO said it was great that I did and asked me most of the questions. Five minutes later we were approved.

The confidence that the applicant displays to the CO plays a BIG part in what the outcome will be. Their job is to WEED out those who are trying to scam the system and if the questions are being asked are answered with trepidation, then surely the CO suspects something and extending a 221(g) she can ask for additional records while combing through the application for legitimacy. ALWAYS, look the CO in the eyes when answering, be confident, and smile. This is show time baby!!

Aside from the 221g form, did the Filipino Officer on the next window after the consular interview said anything about what to do next? I got 221g form also but it was not in green form, I had mine in white and it took me almost 2yrs before the USEM contacted me through the email add i gave to them. But while waiting for the result, I checked my case status online from time to time for my case status update.

Checking your case status online is fast and easy:

1. Go to the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) website:https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/,
2. Under “Nonimmigrant” or "IMMIGRANT", click “Check My Visa Application Status”,
3. Choose from the drop down menu your interview location (Philippines, Manila),
4. Enter the CEAC Barcode or Immigrant Visa case number.

i spent 10 days in ph. pictures with her, and her family as well. we sent them all. we have no more to send.the chat logs i sent was highly condensed, just to show the amount of time we spent on skype. didnt think they wanted over 200 pages of log. again i dont know all the specifics right now. weve known each other since 2011, but have no proof until late 2013.

she is going to email me copy tommorow...

along with waiting for a copy of the 221g you might need to ask her step by step each question they asked and how she responded. its a behavioural interview too. i wish you both well and good luck. might be time to start asking others for proof of your relationship, eg maybe family and friends have evidence of you being a couple.

Hank has a point.

In my case, the American CO did not ask me to hand in anything, she just asked me questions about my fiance and me. (While I talked, she was flipping through what seemed to be the printout of pictures my fiance submitted at NVC.)

Before going to the interview, I memorized significant dates like when we met online, in person, his official proposal etc. So, perhaps being prepared in that sense is also important.

Wait for the 221(g) and don't put added pressure on her. She was trying to do her best I am sure, and grilling her under hot lights will not make this any easier for the two of you. This can be fixed, I am confident that you will eventually pass and you will be together but only if the two of you stick together and not show blame to the other.

Just my two centavos.

Come back here and let us know what the 221(g) says and with our experience we will help you through this.

they asked how we met.. she said yahoo chat room..(we met in 2011)i did not send, or have ANY yahoo logs. neither does she.) they took the skype chat logs.. they ask for kids birthcerts. then ask her the last time she saw kids father, she stated 2005. then changed it to 2011. they then ask the 3 year old if he was still with father, and he nodded yes. they told her she has no chance, and sent her to releasing. this is the form she was given>>>>post-194564-0-46073400-1426731192_thumb.jpg

Please correct me if I misunderstood, the 3 year old was asked if he was staying with their father?

That certainly explains everything.

That's why I suggested to contact your senator to request a second interview asap before the case actually gets returned.

It's a very slim chance but all you got left now to try and fight this. If she does get a second interview, be there !

3 year olds aren't old enough to get a true answer from and they will say anything, the child said yes he still sees his father and your fiance said

she saw him last in 2011 (corrected from 2005) so of course all this back and forth is contradicting and confusing. This all looks bad to the CO

and she needs to get her dates straight.

If they will not grant a second interview then the best thing for you to do is get married and file a CR1.

Pretty long gestation period?

He has met her once, briefly.

I would wonder what the hell is going on.
