AOS PACKAGE DELIVERY - USPS CONFUSING TRACKING INFORMATION

Hi guys,

We sent our AOS package last Thursday which is March 12 via USPS Priority Mail 2-Day. The expected delivery date was Sat March 14, 2015 and I know that USCIS office was closed that time. Every now and then I keep track whether the package has been delivered yet or not.

USPS tracking website is confusing sometimes and here's what it says last night. (please see the attached screenshot)

Anyone of you who encountered the same issue? The message on the blue box is kinda confusing. I tried calling them, and the lady said it has already been delivered but it says on the blue box it has been delivered to Chicago, IL 60699. And I sent the AOS package to this address:

131 South Dearborn-3^rd Floor Chicago, IL 60603-5517

Then I tried calling them again this morning and I spoke to another lady. She doesn't have any idea why it has been delivered to a diff. zipcode so she opened an investigation case and I should receive a call from them within 48-72 hours, sigh!!!!

I had my medical last March 27, 2014 that's why I want to make sure that they receive and review our application before our medical expires.

What should I do??

The top most entry on your attachment is encouraging. There are numerous forum threads about weekend USPS delivery confirmation issues, it all seems to work out. Did you do as the Guides suggest about requesting a return delivery receipt? If so, you should receive the green postcard with the delivery confirmation from USPS info in a few days. Then the USCIS NOA1s (application(s) receipt confirmation(s)) will hopefully arrive in a couple of weeks.

Save yourself some stress, next time try not to cut it so close to known deadlines. The good Lord knows how much stress this whole immigration process by itself causes stress, little sense in creating more for yourself.

I appreciate your response. I was kinda worried about this and hoping that they didn't messed up with the delivery cause I tried sending the mail via overnight delivery last Thursday but they said it's useless cause that's not possible to receive it overnight, it will still be delivered on weekends, which I know USCIS is closed during that time. And I don't think we request for that return delivery receipt but I included G-1145 ( E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance) in the AOS package.

We just sent the application last week cause we didn't have the money. I am really praying & hoping that they already delivered it to USCIS.

I was in the same boat for a while package sent by my lawyer and nothing appears on USPS site, the package says its been delivered on Monday 16th so I'm hoping I get notice back from USCIS soon to say its in their hands.

Really? What does it say on the USPS website now? I reported this to USPS and they called me back and confirmed that the package has been delivered last March 16, Monday.

Did you get any text/ email confirmation from USCIS yet?

USPS site says it was delivered on Monday 16th but I've not had anything from USCIC, I'm hoping I'll get something this week coming.

My package was received on the 17th and I received an email of receipt on the 23rd.

Biometrics date 14th at 9am but early walk in on the 6th done. Just wait and see now.

Hi i hope you are still around here i have the same problem you HAVE last year i send my package to 60680 17 january 2017 and they recived 19 but wrong zipcode 60699 if really help me if you answer me what happes if they finally recived you package at uscis.
