Hello to all,

I write this post to ask all of you if it's normal that it's has been 20 days since i've sended the form
and i didn't get any reply from NVC accepting my form DS261 and activating the IV fee payment.
I'm starting to get a little nervous, but i listened a lot of different opinions, saying that it's normal,
others saying that i have to wait like 60 days.
I tried to call to NVC but it's imposible to get with somebody for ask about it.
Thanks to all for you answers.

We are talking about that right now. Most reps say 42 days. However, they are having some type of system issues. I call all the time and this is what they tell me. I've sent in all of my documents. AOS and IV so they need to hurry..

It can take a while. just keep calling them and have someone review the DS261 over the phone for you

Also you do not have to wait for the IV fee to be paid before sending in the Documents. If you have not done so you should send in the AOS and the IV packets as that takes 60 days for them to review the documents

I didn't know that! I just was worried because the stamps of the taxes that my paralegal sent i think

that expire at the beginning of April, and i don't want to start all again with a checklist and wait like 2 more months...

Both packets are sent, i think that the AOS was sent on March 6th, and the IV packet was sent at MArch 13th or somthing like that.

If they receive the package before April, i don't think that they have any problem, but we know how strict are they...

However, i will insist calling all the day until i get my answer for the form!
