Just wondering how many other couples are in the same boat right now? I'm super excited about moving to the Twin Cities... from spending time there while visiting my fiance, it seems like such a great place to live.

Welcome (soon) to Minnesota! I am the USC and live about 30 miles northwest of the TCs. My fiancé is in England right now waiting for his interview (on Thursday!!!) but I must say he has spent 4 months here over two previous trips and absolutely loves Minnesota. If you get the chance to head to Maple Grove there is a great 'Irish' pub called The Claddagh. They serve AMAZING Shepard's Pie and Fish & Chips. Gary absolutely loves it there. Also, quite a few places have beers and ciders from the UK such as Boddingtons and Newcastle. It doesn't give Gary much to complain about.

A bit late to the party, but we're a UK/MN couple, too! S is expected to be arriving from England in June. She has visited in Minnesota for a total of about six months and loves it as well... the only thing she doesn't like is how awful our roads are.
