Hi guys, thanks for all your help, We are so happy my interview has scheduled on 8th April. Can anyone tell when 90 days starts ? Does it start with visa issuance date or with entry in United states ?

Wow that's really good I have few things to be sorted out before leaving so I am glad I would have time do you have any idea about the total duration of the visa ? I mean start n expiry duration ?

You usually have 6 months expiry from the issue of the k1- but that can be very dependent on your medical as that has an expiry date. But the visa will state when it is valid till which will be the final date you must enter the states on.

Once you enter the states the visa becomes void as it is a one time entry visa and your 90 days basically is based solely now on your I-94 which is the uscis arrival and departure database.

In those 90 days you only have to get married.

You can submit AOS anytime after marriage but note you gain unlawful presence after the 90 days are up but once AOS is submitted that is forgiven and you'll be in lawful stay.

Hi, You know you may be in AP for a long time even if you are approved at your interview. It can be a really long time.

Administrative processing.

It's what happens after the interview and is very normal.

Most people go through it for a couple of days before the visa is issued.

Some people unfortunately have it for a lot longer. Months to years.

Oh no! Plz don't say that it is already difficult to wait my fiancé has visited me 4 times during the application process and it's not easy for us to wait n stay separate ! I am hoping it won't be the case with us!

It's not easy for anyone.

Some people don't get to visit as often as you have.

Unfortunately it's a step in the process.

Long AP is rare and happens mostly in high risk countries.

Don't dwell on something that might not happen.

Please don't scare people.

I've been through Atlanta and it was perfectly fine.

Some people just get bad experiences sometimes but not all BC agents are the same.
