Got the NOA2--approved--on March 3. How does the case number come? Snail mail? Anyway to follow-up online, similar to the USCIS status check? I can't find this in their site. I read the forum and I called the NH number. No way to get through. I read mention of an auto-answer system after hours, but all I get is, "English, USCIS" Click! If it's snail mail, it means 4 weeks? I thought it's faster once it gets to NVC?

Hi! My fiance (now husband) called NVC to get our MNL case number. He called NVC almost every day and we got our case number about a week or so after we got approved. We got it thru the phone and we got the mail hmm few weeks after that.

Once you get your case number you can check your status online. When you see its in "transit" it means its on its way to the embassy and when you see that your status is "ready" i think thats the best time to schedule an interview. :)

Goodluck! :)
