Ok, last night beofre going to bed as usual I checked my status and was shocked to see that my application for EAD was rejected due to incorrect fee and that a notice along with my documents has been sent back to me.

What was strange about this?? Well, it was also the same day that my status and I-797 had said my fingerprint (which is scheduled for next week)fee was accepted.

How could the fee be wrong when I submitted $3,210 ($1,070 times 3 for myself and two K2) to include EAD and AP which is free along with I-485.

Couldn't sleep so got up at 2.am. and checked again. This time it was the original your fingerprint fee has been accepted notice on the original date too.

Now am wondering what this all means?

Was an error made and corrected or will we be getting a rejection notice in the mail.

Know this might be silly or a one off but just wanted to share.
