Problem with 2Go

2Go was supposed to deliver my wife's visa yesterday, Saturday. They sent both my wife and I texts saying it would be delivered and that she had to be here to receive it or have an authorization letter and her ID if she wasn't going to be here. So we changed our plans and waited all day for a delivery that never came. Finally at 6:15pm I got a text saying no delivery where we live in a decent size municipality. I was furious! According to the tracking info all was well and at 10:24am it was "out for delivery". The delivery location is correct and it was supposed to be door to door service.

So now I guess we wait until Monday and make the 35 minute drive into town to pick it up. A few weeks ago I made sure that they would deliver to our house. We waited around all day for nothing. I think the local 2Go just decided they didn't WANT to deliver here. Is there any recourse such as someone at the embassy to make a complaint to?

Nope. It doesn't pay to complain. In the grand scheme of things it's not going to make a difference. Save your breath and move on. It sucks but nothing will happen if you complain. 2Go is the best they have. You could have phil post!! :-)

No, I don't think you're stupid. I think you've "adapted to the culture" lol I've been here almost 2 years and believe me I know that you're just trying to save me frustration. But I believe that because no one here is ever willing to hold anyone accountable, no one is ever going to be accountable .. hence my quote.

I feel that 2Go was paid for something (service) that they didn't deliver .. no pun intended.

Herein lies the problem; USEM has two choices for delivery of the visas that they approve. Either they use 2go, with problems too small to worry about or change to the consolation prize - phil post. It's a no brainer for me.

Well, they did switch to 2Go from DelBros a few years back. Maybe once the 2Go contract comes up for renewal, if they get enough complaints of service, perhaps they'll take time to review the quality of service and maybe pick another company.

I mean there's LBC, Air21, Johnny Air & other local freight forwarders that'd love to have the USEM contract right?

And if you do complain, I'd cc your US Senators & Congressional Rep. Just so it's on the record that you're the USC petitioner complaining.

If you google for problems with those shippers you mentioned, you'll find they have problems too. Which is easier to kill the gnat or the elephant. Complain about the elephant and leave the gnat alone.

My wife never got a text message from 2go for her visa and if she hadn't called who knows when it would have arrived. It sat there for two days hence the phone call from my wife. The system will never be perfect. IMHO there are bigger things in life to worry about.

They were using Delbros back in 2008 and got rid of them and went to Air 21 and now they use 2Go.

Go find some old thread on Delbros and Document Verification, it was fun times back then getting a visa approved, It was failed experiment but sure delayed many people about one month after visa interview..........

Hey, just sounding off on a similar case. I received a text from 2GO yesterday, Saturday, stating that my passport was ready for pickup at 2GO Ayala. I went there and lo and behold, my passport was not there. The guy at the counter nonchalantly said 'it sometimes happen that the text is sent first before the actual delivery.' I will sure leave feedback to the embassy so 2GO can clean up their act. :/
