Hi guys,

I recieved an I-797c for each of my packets. Only one of my I-797c forms had a specific instruction. Does this mean that because of the one thing I missed on my application for travel packet that all of my packets are rejected?

The other just say it was rejected with no specific instructions attached to them. If there are no other specific instructions does that mean the rest of the packet is okay?

HELPPPP

February 20th- Sent Packet I-765, I-131, I-130, I-485

February 26th- Packet Received

March 14th- Sent packet back

March 17th- Packet received

March 27th- Biometrics confirmation

April 16th- Biometrics appointment

April 21st- Second RFE for packet I-130, needed one more petitioner

If they rejected it, you would receive it back in front of you. You are fine, don't panic. Good luck.

Nancy,

I am sitting with it right here in front of me. I wanted to know how specific an I-797c was. On all 4 of my packets I have an I-797c, only one of the packets (my I-130) has a specific item to be addressed. Is the I-797c on the other 3 packets only on there because I missed something in the packet that has something specific listed on it? The other three just have the same words on them but no specific wrong.

I am hoping someone can enlighten me on what an I-797c actually means

Ok, so you sent in all the forms, and all of them were rejected and returned, yes? Well, what does the one rejection notice say? What was the specific thing that they said was wrong and the problem? Need more details here.

3 of them are the same stating that the application was rejected. "The principal app package could not be accepted for the reason(s) specified on the related Notice of Action. Therefore processing cannot continue". The one with a specific adjustment says that I need to sign one of the sheets.(silly me, I went above and beyond to make sure I had more information in the packet to make sure I didn't miss anything and here I am missing a signature :/ ). "Your I-130 is being returned for the following reason: You must sign application in the signature block etc etc etc". Did all of my packets get rejected because one of the forms in packet I-130 was not signed? Is that the reason for an I-797c on each of the packets?

Oh okay, I-130 form is the most crucial form for concurrent AOS, if it was rejected, everything would be rejected. Double check everything as instructed and resend it to avoid any delay. Good luck.

Yes. Fix the problem and resend it all.
