Why is my expedite taking so long?????

I had my expedite request approved before I got a case number in mid January. I just received my case number on feb 19 and they still haven't sent it out. Is anyone else in the same situation?? At first I was given different stories that I shouldn't pay or send anything and then another rep told me the opposite. I went ahead filled out the choice of agent and paid my AOS bill and 9 days later it's still processing. 2 weeks ago I received an email that the file was being sent immediately but still is sitting at NVC. I'm so frustrated right now can anyone shed some light on what I should do or why it might be taking so long. thanks guys

please talk with a supervisor at NVC, via telephone, next.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes I am in the same position since our expedite was approved 2/23. The last time I spoke to an agent she said that our case is in line to get a case set up. She also consulted with a supervisor and the supervisor sent an email to the department responsible for this, but I'm not sure what the email was for...

Like you, I got conflicting info about sending in documents or not. Like PP said, definitely talk to a supervisor to find out what's really going on with your expedite.

NVC will only send your paperwork after you have a case complete and once it arrives embassy you will schedule your interview by yourself. I was in the same boat as you, and when I spoke to a supervisor she said embassy approved my expedite on the ground every NVC must complete there process before sending paperwork to them and I can schedule my interview myself with any date I like (that is where I have my expedite). That is what most embassy doing right now,

I just talked to my embassy and they told me that they typically get expedited cases after about 6 weeks. That's how long it takes NVC to set up the case file and everything, which was the condition of my expedite.
