Love My Tico, I must totally disagree with your assessment of the accuracy of the VJ.com web site.

We have members spread to every state in the union, and a good cross-country section of people, that post here, and "do" post accurate information, I will ""certainly take this web site over anything this government posts!

My wife and I had our K-1 within 6 days, of projection date.

My good friend had his K-1 6 days early, than projection.

USCIS is supposed to be self supporting, but I assure all that there are govt. funds that make it to USCIS.

My gosh, just look at this entire govt., from top to bottom, from the cooks at a Veterans Hospital to the very top, ""the man himself"" has this country ever been so inept?

And today, ""the man"" just said "his" budget would add 6 trillion dollars over 10 years to fund his programs.

How about another processing center for K-1 and I-130 visas? People in our class do not matter, all our loved ones would have been better off being illegals, and "just walk across the border".,.,.,..,, after "he" is finished, all will see what this man has done to this country!

I'm only nearly two months into this journey and had no prior insight into the workings of the U.S. bureaucracy...I've been very surprised by the lack of accountability and transparency.

It's really important for people to continue to sign the petitions etc....even if the change comes long after we have made it out of the blackhole, it will be a nice legacy we leave for those who follow us.

Even if we could present them with data from VJ timelines it'd probably go ignored or maligned as a non-credible source. The media would be the right people to approach to bring these issues into the eyes of the wider public. Getting them interested is the hard part.

Would it be a good idea if we ask the 129f fillers at CSC to that waited less than a month for their noa2 to send us a pic of their noa2 then we can mail these pics to our senators, congressmen, medai, and whoever we think can be helpful.

This way USCIS would not be able to deny their data.

P.S whoever sends the noa2 they can hide their names that way it will be completely secret.

Two weeks ago I wrote to my Senator (Harry Reid) expressing my frustration with the long waiting periods for TCS vs CSC. As far as jurisdiction our petition should of been sent to the CSC but instead went to TCS. Last week his office got the response from TCS that TCS does not have longer wait times than CSC and they would get to us when they get to us.

This evening at 6:31pm the text came through from USCIS with our approval.

I wonder whether you have had some luck/coincidence here? TSC seem to be processing November 130's currently based on igors list. The 129's are still in August.

Out of the people in the K1 family I know that have gone to their senator, none had the experience you just had. Current feedback is the senators influence has been pretty ineffective.

Don't want to put a dampner on this. More if there are others with similar experiences to you it would be good to know.

Well, it's hard to know for sure. Like I said before when his office contacted USCIS their immediate response was to defend TCS times and why the petition went to Texas rather than California. In all actuality it was less than a week. That conversation between his staff and USCIS happened on Tuesday and approval came late Friday. At that time they gave no indication they were working on the case, but instead gave the impression they'll get to it when they get to it.

I'd imagine ol' Harry has a bit of pull in some respects.

Harry Reid is the current Senate Minority leader. He is an influential Senator by all means, so he may very well have more recognition than other senators.

My husband and I actually sent off our i-130 on exactly the same day as you guys and got our NOA1 the exact same day too. Our petition also should have gone to California as we have a Phoenix address (I'm from London).

We didn't contact anyone and our case got approved yesterday (13th March) as well. I'm pretty sure it's because they eventually got to ours rather than any outside influence, but who knows.

Although the wait time for the NOA2 was longer than I first expected, I personally don't think 3 months is too bad. Now we're just hoping that the next leg of the process doesn't take too long!

It's was all a bit odd and coincidental and of course we are very happy with a 3 month process too. However, it's hard to imagine that they've jumped ahead to Dec filers. Perhaps our folders were stuck together (LoL)

Thanks! Congrats to you too! They have actually been approving a few December files recently (as seen on Igor's list) and our estimated date to receive the approval was between March 15th - April 14th so Visa Journey's data seems to be pretty accurate. Either way, if they indeed *are* stuck together, may the quick process continue!

Hi avrora!

Ok thank you! Yes, the Skunkworks team has decided to see what we can do. We'll collect as much data from CSC filers as we can. If there's enough input, we'll take it back to the congressman who received that feedback and see what happens. We'll take it to other sources as well. Send it by PM to KristinD (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/user/197340-kristind/). She volunteered to collect the actual submissions.

So. Please send us a photo copy of your NOA1 and NOA2. Feel free to black out the names and address stuff if you want. But be sure to leave enough information that we can tell it's authentic.

Thanks!

Jerry
