hi , im applying for k1 fiance visa my case was sent from nvc from January & and i have my TNS number from NVC i create a profile like they said and i already did my DS 160 and paid my visa fee im trying to reach the embassy by phone , email and i cant i want to schedule an appointment for interview how i can do that ? did i have to receive a letter from the embassy with the instructions or E mail?

According to the Tunisia VJ webpage, you do not schedule your interview.

The Embassy does, and they send you an interview letter.

your process looks different, for me i filled out my ds 160 after the embassy sent an email, in that email they asked me to fill out ds 160 and then they sent me another email and they schedule me an appointement, and im gonna pay the fees on the day of my interview, so as you well see every case is different, but im guessing that you need to wait to get an email from the embassy

embassy have my case since since 07 Jan and i did that DS 160 and pay from what i read in the website but i try to call them no answer and i email them and nothing and im worry cause my USCIS approved will close on 15 april

how much time they take to send u email from the day they receive ur case and they know ur email how u contact them to ask for appoitment

You really need to have a look at the link posted already for the Tunisia embassy - > http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Tunisia&cty=Tunis

It mentions it will take up to two months from the date the embassy receives the package from NVC to schedule you an interview.

That link does include contact information if you'd rather contact them now. You are probably waiting on what is considered Packet 3 - instructions, etc. from the embassy.

I don't know if you're having a translation difficulty or are just not reading the replies.

But myself and the others have already given you this information.

You need to read the links given.

The embassy makes your interview appointment and sends you a letter, this can take up to two months.

Please just read the information given.

Also please fill in your time line, it is easier for us to help when we know exactly where you are in the process and how much time has passed already.

hello!

usually when the embassy recieve the application from the NVC they contact you after 2 months or so, so you will recieve an email called package 3 contains instructions, for myself when they sent me the first email ( package) they asked me to fill out the ds 160, after 10 days they sent schedule me an appointment.

so i think you didnt have to pay for the visa fees, you need to do that when the embassy ask you, i think you should keep the receipt or try to get your money back, you said that you fill out the ds 160, its alright just print the confirmation page and keep it

and dont worry about the uscis approved coz the embassy they will extend it

be patience and you will get your email from the embassy, i had to wait 4 months before the embassy contacted me, again be patience and everything will be fine, good luck
