My husband finally got his interview letter a few weeks ago (Feb 13th) and we've been eagerly getting all our ducks in a row for his interview on March 30th. The only part we're having trouble with is getting the Loomis services set up for the return of his documents after the interview. We've been going on this website https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-CA/ivand every time we input his information we receive this message:

"The Immigrant Visa case number provided is not ready to schedule an appointment. If you have not received an appointment letter from the National Visa Center (NVC), you can check the status of your IV case at http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/nvc.html."
Of course we have our interview letter from the NVC with our date and when we check the status of our case on the NVC website it says that it's ready.
I feel like we're going crazy and should be able to get this taken care of.. Have anyone else been having the same issues and can offer us some advice?

I am having the same problem, I got my letter March 2 for a April 17th interview and I am getting the same message as you. I checked NVC as well and my case is "ready".

I thought I was doing something wrong, I would love to hear from anyone out there who has been successful.

The same problem here. I got an interview letter two days ago and still unable to register with Loomis service. I was told by the agent that my case is not ready for the interview.

I was able to create an account at that website, but cannot continue once I log in, because there are options (K1, to schedule interview) are not apply to me at all.

Wondering if I should expect a letter from the Consular for additional instruction including loomis service?

You have to make sure CEAC says "ready" before you try to sign up for Loomis. Really you can sign up for loomis like the day before the interview and be fine.

I've had a similar problem. We were able to create the account too, but ours wasn't in the "ready" stage at the NVC, so we just have to wait. If yours says ready and still won't go through, I suggest emailing them. With the changes that the system have undergone, they are definitely having issues, because they have a support email SPECIFICALLY for this purpose. It WILL take about 4 business days to get a response ... And don't just email them what they say on that error page! They say to email them with the subject line "Case number not ready to schedule" , give them the applicant's complete name, date of birth and a scanned copy of your letter from the NVC with your appointment date. Well, that's not all. In the email, give them this too:

Passport number
Date of birth
Nationality
Full name as it appears in the passport
Case number
DS-260 confirmation number

If you don't, you'll waste 3-4 days because they'll just ask for this info anyway. Hope that gets you closer to finding out what's wrong.

Thanks for the responses! Everything we've been seeing gives us the indication that we should be able to sign up for the services but no dice. CEAC says we've been ready for weeks now and we also sent them an e-mail a few days ago so hopefully we'll see some movement soon!

You can check your NVC case status here:

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Mine just changed from At NVC to In Transit, woohoo!

And I would use one of th emails that you've been using the whole time. So either the petioner or beneficiary email, use that to contact them if necessary.

Finally I was able to register with Loomis on that website, however, I notice that the Consular interview date was March 1 on the Loomis instructions/confirmation page, which was the date I got NVC interview instruction, but my interview date is in April as per NVC P4 letter.

Because date discrepancy, I worry if I have any trouble to enter into the Consular for my interview in April.

Any idea?

I have no idea on this, because I haven't been able to register yet. Anyone have a response to this? I'd like to know as well, because we already booked my wife's hotel/flight for the interview ...

My status is Ready. I read earlier in this thread that once it changed to Ready we could register for courier services. Very flakey and frustrating.
