Processing in Cali but not Texas?

Seems like the visas forwarded to Cali get processed and the ones that stay in Texas do not,is there a reason for that ,? Mine stayed in Texas

CSC and TSC have different processing times. Sorry you guys ended up at TSC, expect a 7+ month wait at this rate.

TSC applications are processed, they are just far slower than CSC.

I mailed mine on oct 31 got approved on Dec 8. Until now still waiting for a notice from NVC ! I'm TSC too!!!

You are a Filipino auto-expedite case. Hence NoA2 at TSC was quick.

You may wanna start chasing USCIS and NVC. It is not supposed to take 3 months to get a case number assigned and have the case sent to the embassy.

I am an American citizen residing in TExas. I did call NVC five times and they said they don't have any info about my case. They asked me to email them the NOA2 which I did 2 weeks ago but they told me it will take them a month or 2 to even open up the case. I called USCIS this week and they were surprise why NVC has not received anything. they emailed someone in USCIS dept that was suppose to be mailing it while I was on the phone with them. I have to wait till March 19 to follow up or they said, I will be getting some update on my case prior to that date. I was wondering, does someone has a case that was approved quickly but so delayed like mine. Thanks for the reply.

That's the million dollar question. Why the delays? Who knows. Why won't they do anything about it? Again, who knows.

Basically, though, legal immigration is a transient phase, so there's not a long-term group of people advocating for any kind of reform (once you're done with it, you think the gods above and never think about USCIS ever again, as opposed to people who are in more permanent "states" and therefore organize and advocate for themselves). Also, they're really not accountable to anyone. They're funded by our fees. They don't rely on the government or taxpayers for funding and so really, we're the only ones who really care what they're doing, and they have all the power in this situation and so here we are. Most people hear "immigration reform" and think that it has something to do with the undocumented/illegal immigrant problem and immediately jump to whichever side of the ship they belong on. They simply don't *care* about legal immigration because (a) it is confusing and boring (b) they're either on the side of keeping immigrants out but can't justify keeping *legal* immigrants out so keep their mouths shut on the topic or feel bad for how difficult it is for the whole world to come and live the American dream so don't seem to care that it takes 18 months to get a spouse here because at least that spouse has the option available to them.
