Good morning VJers

I need some advice. On tuesday mar 3 2015 NVC put our case to the attention of a supervisor because it has been 81 days and we have had no review.

Apparently they skipped over our case. People who sent in documents to NVC after us already have a case complete.

Just want to know how long a supervisor review takes?

Anyone experienced this before?

Would they make an exception in regards to giving us an earlier interview because they have took ridiculously long to review 1 page?

Btw our scan date is dec 15 2014

Thank you

Hey,

I had a supervisor review because the NVC told us that my husband's Spanish police report was not valid... although it was. I asked for a supervisor to look at the police report on December 18th and our case was marked complete on February 6th... so about 8 weeks later. I was originally told by a NVC representative that a supervisor review would take 30 days. When I called back after 30 days, I was told it may take about 60 days. I think our case took longer because it coincided with the holidays and multiple NVC closings due to snow storms.

As far getting an earlier interview because of the extra hassle, I don't think that's likely. In our case, we had our CC status on February 6th and my husband's interview is scheduled for April 15th. The interview date has more to do with the U.S. Embassy in the beneficiary's county than NVC, so I wouldn't expect them to be able to get you an earlier date.

Hope that helps and good luck!

I'm also under review right now. I submitted the DS-260 about a week before the IV package was reviewed, but then I got a checklist saying we need to turn in the DS-260. I called NVC to clarify since it was submitted and he told me that even though the email confirming receipt of the DS-260 says 30 days, it may take over 30, but less than 60 days for them to review it.

I called on day 37 to get an update and the girl said since it has been over 30 days, they'll send it to a supervisor for review but to email a copy of the DS-260 confirmation email to the general "asknvc" email address which she said would be helpful. The whole thing was a little confusing, so I thought I'd try to talk to another agent a few days later. He said that the supervisor's review can take up to 42 days! I've only hit the one week point, but I'm getting really anxious.

Please keep me updated on your case and how long it takes to review.

Also, spousevisaUSA- wonderful work on your blog! Great to read about another experience in Spain.
